      1. Prior to appointment in the advanced endoscopy fellowship, fellows should have completed a three-year ACGME-accredited gastroenterology fellowship

Fellowship Training Program Overview:

The Fourth Year (non-accredited) fellowship program at VCU Medical Center offers training in advanced therapeutic endoscopy procedures such as EUS, ERCP, EMR, Digital Spy cholangioscopy, Barrett's ablation, suturing and enteral stenting. The advanced fellow is involved with every therapeutic case. There will be additional clinical and teaching responsibilities as well as research opportunities throughout the year. The fellowship is paid at a PGY7 level.
