Additional Information about Program

The Advanced Endoscopy Fellowship program at Henry Ford Hospital is a 1-year fellowship dedicated to advanced training in therapeutic endoscopy. Fellows will develop competence in endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), endoscopic ultrasound (EUS), advanced polypectomy techniques (EMR) and endoluminal stenting. There will be opportunities for involvement in interventional EUS (EGDE procedures, cholecystoduodenostomy, EUS guided gastroenterostomy etc.), POEM procedures, endoscopic submucosal dissection, device assisted enteroscopy, endoscopic suturing and bariatric endoscopy procedures based on the interest of the fellow. Graduates of the program will be prepared for successful careers in academic or private practice settings.
