      1. Prior to appointment in the advanced endoscopy fellowship, fellows should have completed a three-year ACGME-accredited gastroenterology fellowship
      2. Fellows from non-ACGME-accredited programs must have completed at least three years of gastroenterology education prior to starting the fellowship

Additional Information about Program

1) The advanced trainee is appointed at the Clinical Instructor level and will serve as a gastroenterology inpatient service attending for 5 weeks during the training year.
2) All training will occur at the Northwestern Memorial Hospital campus in downtown Chicago.
3) Volume for ESD, POEM, and Bariatric Endoscopy will be based on fellow interest in the specific niche. It is not required but can be arranged if interest is there.
4) Interviews will be conducted IN PERSON ONLY
