Additional Information about Program

The Advanced Therapeutic Endoscopy Fellowship Program at Staten Island University Hospital (SIUH) is a one year program open to eligible candidates who have completed an ACGME-accredited Gastroenterology Fellowship Program.
The therapeutic endoscopy team at Staten Island University works together to provide the best care for patients with complex gastrointestinal disease. We perform over 800 EUS/ERCPs a year and also commonly perform procedures such a luminal stenting, radiofrequency ablation, complex EMRs, pseudocyst drainage, rendezvous procedures, amongst many more. We also routinely perform third space endoscopy including ESD, POEM, and G-POEM. We are a tertiary referral center and provide care to a large portion of the population in Staten Island; thus trainees are able to experience both routine and complex cases.
There is an ACGME-accredited Gastroenterology Fellowship Program at SIUH since 2014.
Staten Island University Hospital is part of the Northwell Health System.
