Additional Information about Program

We are a group of 5 GI faculty that specialize in advanced endoscopy. In 2024, it will be the 17th year in a row that we accept a GI fellow for advanced endoscopy training. Approximately 50% of our graduates continue their advanced endoscopy careers in academics and the other 50% in private practice. Our Advanced endoscopy group performs procedures in ERCP, EUS, EMR, ESD, altered anatomy ERCP, deep balloon enteroscopy, luminal stenting, POEM, and endobariatrics. There are ample opportunities for the fellow to be involved in research projects. We have several weekly and monthly multidisciplinary conferences. We allow and encourage attending and participating at national conferences. Additional benefits for all housestaff: $12,000 housing stipend, $2000 educational fund and $2050 meal card for all fellowship programs.
