      1. Prior to appointment in the advanced endoscopy fellowship, fellows should have completed a three-year ACGME-accredited gastroenterology fellowship

One (1) year therapeutic endoscopy fellowship at Carolinas Medical Center. The 4th year fellow will receive extensive clinical/academic training in EUS (basic/FNA and all aspects of therapeutic/interventional EUS), ERCP (all aspects of intervention), enteral stenting and advanced mucosal resection techniques. The fellowship is designed for a candidate with interests in pursuing a career in academic therapeutic endoscopy.
